Siva Nadi Astrology in vaitheeswaran Koil
Hindu Nadi astrology is enriched with the wisdom of numerous sages, and the Nadi leaves written by these maharishis provide detailed predictions about past, present, and future human life. Some of these profound insights were penned by revered Siddhas such as Agastya, Sugar, Dhanvantari, and others. Additionally, there are Nadi leaves authored by esteemed Maharishis like Atri, Bhrighu, and others who are collectively known as Saptharishis (the Seven Maharishis). However, there exists a unique type of Nadi called Sivanadi that contains divine conversations between Lord Parvati and Lord Siva – the ultimate God. It is believed that through these conversations, Lord Siva and Parvati guide individuals in understanding their past, present, and future life characteristics to aid them in attaining spiritual salvation and breaking free from the cycle of birth.
Sivanadi, also known as shivnadi jyotish, is a form of poetic script in the Tamil language that narrates a dialogue between Lord Siva and Parvati. The conversation always commences with presenting some evidence to the nadi seeker, ensuring that the predictions mentioned are specifically tailored for them. Most of the readings in Sivanadi Jyothisham are penned by siddhas and maharishis who beseech Lord Shiva and Parvati on behalf of the nadi seeker regarding their life predictions.
The ancient Tamil script called Vatta Eluzhuthu was used to write these predictions on palm leaves. Seven distinct rishis recorded these visions, resulting in the existence of various types of Nadis. Interestingly, there is a specific variant known as the Siva Nadi, which consists of dialogues between Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati. The well-known saint Kakabusanda sang verses about humanity’s fate and destiny to his disciple Gorakhnath. This particular type of Nadi is referred to as Kakabusanda Nadi.
